I'm officially feeling large. As of this week, I've really started to notice my body taking it's toll and feeling the changes of this growing life. The flights of stairs up to our studio suddenly are killer, carrying Hazel around is becoming more and more challenging! My back is starting to ache and leg cramps get the best of me in the evening. My body is doing its job and telling me to slow down a bit.
This has been an incredibly busy season for Dan and me. This month is probably one of his craziest ever. Which has made both of us all the more excited for June and our little Oregon getaway. It's much needed, some good quality time, lounging on the beach and going for long walks in the sun, oh it's going to be good. Counting down the days. It's almost all I can think about ;)
I can't believe we're over the halfway hump! I just bought my first little outfit for baby, and a little blanket now that we know the sex! So fun to be able to do that, with Hazel everything was "gender neutral," which meant lots of grey and yellow, so when she came out a girl I wished I had bought at least something pink! A little advice if you're keeping it a surprise, buy at least one thing pink! I can't believe I didn't, I think I was convinced it was a boy, or that if it was a girl I didn't want to dress her in pink? Who knows, this time around, I'm glad I can be prepared, and buy a few cute new things <3 It was hard to resist this weekend with all the amazing Mother's Day sales going around!
