It's hard to believe my baby is 9 months old today! What a crazy 9 months, she's been out as long as she has been in now. Hazel is such a sweet girl, she's becoming a much more interactive, and strong-willed little person, I am loving getting to know her each day.
She loves to dance, as soon as music comes on, she starts bopping up and down, with her little hands up in the air.
Her favourite place is standing inside of the fridge, anytime I open that door, I can hear her immediately bee-lining it, making excited little noises as she crawls faster than ever to stand in that cool, bright, magical place.
But she doesn't love food as much as the fridge, she's a pretty picky eater. I've only gotten banana willingly into her twice, and she's scared of strawberries and refuses avocado. She does love her oatmeal and yoghurt, which I can sneak fruit or pureed veggies into! She is way more fond of spicy or savoury things, she loved trying a dill pickle, and any parts of my taco or burrito, she goes crazy for that! She loooooves her corn or rice puffs.
She loves dogs. terrified of sneezes, favourite this to chew on is daddy's shoelace on his Nikes. Has two bottom teeth and very swollen top gums, hoping those come soon because they are realllllly bothering her .
She loves walks, so smiley with strangers on the bus, in stores, or in cafes, she's always making friends. She's been crawling for months and is so quick now. She pulls herself up onto anything, including me, which is adorable, and also a bit awkward when she's using the back of my knees for support and we're both a bit stuck. She's not in a huge rush to walk though, she's pretty content getting around on her knees. I'm toootally ok with that!
I truly love my instax camera, I love having these little tangeable memories! Dan and I the day before I went into labour, we walked sooo much that day! The tiniest Hazel laying on daddy's chest, that was the moment he knew he'd forever be wrecked and fell madly in love with his little girl. The one on the bottom right was her in the hospital, 10 hours old or so, right before we took her home.
That little butt. She loves standing and pulling out all of Dan's records, he doesn't love it so much.
